Here are the rides and activities available at 3 Greys

1 Hour Hack:

All hacks on the Downs are escorted and can accommodate novice or experienced riders. There are many different rides and roadwork is kept to the very minimum.

2 Hour Hack:

As above but taking riders further afield. These rides tend to take place in the afternoons at weekends or any time during the week.

1 Hour Group Lesson:

These lessons are held mostly at weekends and we offer lessons for children and adults. If children or adults would like a leader to give them confidence this is no problem. Tuition is given for half an hour and then the group are escorted out for a short ‘Doddle’ along the nearby bridleways.

˝ Hour Private Lesson:

A lesson with the instructor of your choice. Half an hour of one-to-one schooling tuition to polish up those riding skills or to teach beginners the basics.

The Doddle:

We offer under five year olds their first experience on horseback. As a lesson is too much for them to take in at this age we take our younger guests out for a half hour ‘Doddle’ along the nearby bridleways to help familiarise them with riding.

Stable Management Days:

 A full day of learning how to care for a horse/pony including a hack and lesson. Subjects covered include feeding, stabling, grooming and tack. For children a certificate scheme is run so as their knowledge grows they are rewarded with a certificate from Level 1 to Level 4.

Birthday Parties:

We can accommodate children’s birthday parties with either a group lesson, a doddle or a combination of both (prices on request).

Hen Parties/Corporate Entertainment:

We can offer any of the above options for your special event. Great fun for Hen parties and a real team building activity for corporate days.
